As I continue to revise the very old versions of my Tudor wives portraits, here is the Catherine of Aragon revision. This portrait is disputed to be her (it may in fact be Mary Rose Tudor - check out my Tik Tok videos @RoyaltyNow where I discuss this! I’ll also be posting a timelapse highlights video of the creation there too). I really love this portrait and it has such beautiful light and shadow I thought it would be a shame not to use it again for my Catherine revision, even if the subject is disputed.
Prints are available for this work! I’m working on getting all of the Tudor wives completed so I can make some complete Henry & Wives sets of prints and bookmarks on Etsy.
